The Faunatar – pet store chain was established in 1980 by the name of Eläinsoppi - Animalshop Oy, and includes 30 retail pet stores all around Finland which makes us the leading pet store chain in Finland.

We have over one hundred people working for our chain at the moment.

Our shops are located on the best sales places in the biggest shopping centers.

Our assortment includes all pet animals such as rodents, rabbits, birds, reptiles, aquariums, tropical fish and all accessories and foods for them as well as wide range of accessories and foods for cats and dogs.

Our chain is well known by the high standard of taking care of pets wellbeing. All Faunatar pet shops are carefully planned and we always put animals first in every thing we do.

We have created the first complete education program for pet store staff and are the pioneers in ethics when discussing animals.
